Robert Lippmann introduced Polyair Springs to the Australian
Market about 40 years ago after the concept of "floating
vehicles on air" had already been proven in the USA.
Today, the range of Polyair Springs and associated hardware
has grown to more than 400 kits and is available in Australia,
Asia and New Zealand.
The airbag, which inflates inside a coil spring, eliminates
rear-end sag under load as well as preventing bodyroll when
cornering or when there is an uneven load on board. This makes
Polyair Springs ideally suited to towing applications as they
are adjustable simply be adding or removing air pressure.
As well as coil spring applications, there are Polyair kits
for vehicles with leaf springs where the airbag is fitted
inside its own coil spring that sits between the vehicle's
chassis and the leaf springs.
Polyair Springs improve ride, handling and stability, help
prevent bottoming, bounce and sway, renew life in tired springs
and extend life of dampers, springs and tyres.
Polyair airbags are made of high-tensile-strength polyurethane
for long-lasting durability and are covered by a 12-month/20,000km
warranty, during which time any defective parts will be replaced
for free, provided the kit was correctly installed.
